Everything Kelsey bakes is absolute magic. Her goodies are baked to perfection (including even her gf/vegan options!) She does a phenomenal job making sure everyone has something sweet to eat, no matter their dietary issue. Not only does every bite taste better than the last, but the aesthetic of her cakes and cookies are just way too dreamy! She captured the design of my event perfectly in a cake and cookies. I could not have been any happier with her creativity, workability, and professionalism. Catch me shouting my love off mountain tops for The Flour Shop!

My husband and I have been to over two dozen weddings combined (all over the US) and have eaten a LOT of wedding cake - nothing holds a candle to the magical wedding cake we’ve had from the Flour Shop. Kelsey has great energy and does an incredible job at customizing baked goods for everyone - she brings your dream taste combinations to life. Every baked good we’ve ever had from The Flour Shop is inspired and delicious and beautiful and immediately becomes our new favorite. Be warned: it’ll straight up ruin all other baking for you.

Kelsey is incredibly talented! My experience working with her/the Flour Shop was seamless. Our wedding cake turned out GORGEOUS and so delicious. The wedding cake wasn’t just ornamental, it was something guests really loved. The Flour Shop also made cookies as guest favors for us. I still get people raving about those cookies!! Working with The Flour Shop was an all around wonderful experience, exceeding our expectations.

There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how insanely delicious Kelsey’s desserts are. Not only are they stunningly beautiful, but her flavor options and pairings are out of this world. Speaking as someone who is “not a cake person”, I’m telling you- this is the BEST cake I’ve ever had. It’s been a few weeks and I’m still thinking about the roasted strawberry & elderflower combination😍
Even beyond the product & display, Kelsey is a gem of a human- her thoughtfulness and intentionality with her creations, as well as with her customers, is truly wonderful. Can’t recommend her or her desserts more!!

Kelsey was amazing in every single step of our planning process!! She has A FABULOUS way of helping you in the decision making process with her great vision and sweet calming personality! She made us feel like “she’s got this”!! And, she DID! Kelsey made 3 cakes for us and they were all just GORGEOUS to look at and SO DELICIOUS to taste!!! I cannot recommend her highly enough!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Kelsey was the absolute best! Our wedding was a destination wedding in Northern MI, and being out of town for the majority of the planning, Kelsey made the process so simple for us. She was a great communicator throughout, very flexible and accommodating in everything from cake flavor combinations to cake delivery, and made the entire process seamless from start to finish. She was very knowledgeable with working with our venue, The Homestead, which was so helpful for us with all the day of arrangements. Her sweet and kind personality made her a joy to work with, and made us all the more happy to support her and her business. As for the cake and desserts themselves — wow! Both cake layer flavor combinations, as well as the shortbread cookies she provided were seriously the talk of the wedding! Having our guests smiling and exclaiming how delicious the cake was and having the hardest time trying to decide which flavor they liked best was just the perfect addition to our perfect day. We can not recommend her services enough and will be back for anniversary cakes and much more!

I cannot recommend Kelsey and her baking skills enough! The chocolate chip shortbread cookies and chocolate chip banana bread are my favorite things to eat on this earth! If I could give 10000 stars I would ⭐️ do yourself a favor and order literally anything this precious human bakes, your tastebuds will thank you!
“I ordered the chai and rose shortbread cookies, and both were AMAZING! The chai cookies were still soft (shipped from Michigan to Boston) and my husband, who doesn’t like rose flavored anything, said the rose shortbread cookies were one of the best flavors he has ever had. These are some of the most delicious cookies I have ever eaten and will be ordering more!”

My experience with the Flour Shop was truly a gift. Kelsey made our wedding cake both gluten free and vegan, and it was amazing! Banana bread with peanut butter and cream cheese frosting - to die for!! Kelsey communicated so well, and even brought a cake stand for us! It was a gift to have Kelsey as a part of our wedding, as there was so much to do and think of with planning a wedding, it was such a gift to have Kelsey take over the wedding cake to-do’s altogether! And at such a great cost, too. Cannot recommend the Flour Shop enough!

I've had three separate interactions with the flour shop and each time, the event has been MADE by the goodies!!!!! In all instances they were the hit of the show!
“These cookies were shipped to me in Florida and were SO good! Do not turn down the chai cookies! I don’t even really like cookies, but I ate 3 in one sitting before I started to pace them out for the week. I loved that there was almost no plastic included in this shipment, and the cookies were still so soft! Would eat from this shop 100/10.”
